We collect only what we need to run the event and keep you informed.
What we collect
When you buy tickets, register as a driver or volunteer, or join the mailing list, we store your name, email and phone so we can confirm your order and contact you about the event. Driver registrations also collect a date of birth, street address and an emergency contact so we can run the event safely. Payment is handled by our payment provider — we do not store your card details. Sensitive fields (date of birth, address and emergency contact) are encrypted at rest; our payment provider credentials are likewise encrypted rather than stored in plain text.
Analytics
With your consent, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) to see which pages are useful. We do not track you across other sites.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to remember your consent choice. You can decline analytics and still use the whole site.
Your rights & data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to run the event and meet our legal obligations (generally up to 12 months after the event, after which it is deleted). You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time — email [email protected] or use the erase tool in the admin panel. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
